i-cut® GraphicsRouter™

MGE has combined the proven precision of the i-cut® Vision workflow with an 18,000 RPM router, specifically selected for its ability to contour router-cut the kinds of rigid materials being printed on in today’s digital print world.

The MGE i-cut® GraphicsRouter™ is able to accurately route materials such as acrylic, Sintra®, Polycarbonate, Plywood, MDF, Sign Foam, Gatorfoam®, Aluminum composites and more. The machine presents the most cost effective, vision accurate solution for print business owners who wish to enhance their companies’ digital finishing capabilities.

Like other i-cut® / i-script® enabled systems, the i-cut® GraphicsRouter™ can import complete cutting files from all of the major wide format RIPs, fully integrated with the industry’s leading wide format printers into a fully digital workflow.

Unlike traditional CNC routers or simple vision systems that are unable to completely compensate for location, rotation, print, material, or lamination distortions, both linear and non-linear in nature, this system can handle any print job it encounters, the result: complete accuracy, and a single workflow, independent of the RIP, printer or cutting device currently implemented, or that may be added in the future.
